Let's Talk Summer Trends : Trend 1 Old Money Hair
Picture her, walking down the street in Manhattan or in the Hamptons, perfectly under stated neutrals. She’s wearing a nice blazer rolled up sleeves, with the cute white top, and rolled up jeans, kitten heels. What does her hair look like?
If you’re thinking how I’m thinking of her, her hair is seamlessly blended. It’s colored but you can’t see where her highlights start and her natural begins. Her hair is bouncy and bold. She has volume, and soft curls. She’s glam but understated.
So how do you achieve this look? Well first let’s talk color, she has highlights but you can’t see them. She has babylights with a soft glaze that is no more than one to one and a half levels lighter than her hair.
Her cut is long layered with face framing. She Blows it out every day. She is willing to use a round brush.
The products she uses:
1. Mr. Smith: The Serum (This seals the hair and eliminates the dryness from heat styling.
2. Mr. Smith: Mousse ( This creates effortless volume with smoothness) Her hair looks styled but it doesn’t right? You can’t tell she has product in there.
3. Mr. Smith: Dry Texture Spray. After her blowdry she seals in that bounce with a soft, light weight texture spray sure to give her movement and volume all day.
She throws on her jeans, her simple t, grabs those perfectly framed shades and she’s out the door.
